A clean Keurig makes a great cup of coffee, every time.
The convenience seems too good to be true, but it’s not. So how to clean a Keurig? It only takes a few tricks to maintain the machine.
First, when the coffee pot says “prime” it is similar to a computer that freezes. The best thing to do is unplug it, take the water canister out, and pour clear water into the tray. Some calcium can build up here and stop the function. It is recommended that you use distilled water to prevent this.
When you put the tray back, pour some vinegar into the water reservoir. Push “brew.” Let the vinegar water sit in the tray for a few hours. After that brew a few cups of water through to rinse the vinegar.
